I'm really excited to see this movie. The film follows the story behind the 1965 Selma to Montgomery voting rights marches lead by Martin Luther King Jr., Hosea Williams and James Bevel. The trailer looks just amazing and it features a really diverse cast. David Oyelowo is the lead character playing Dr. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. - hopefully he does a great job as he is playing a coveted role and has some large shoes to fill playing such a righteous and prophetic character. Others cast in the film include: Tim Roth, Carmen Ejogo, Common, Niecy Nash and Oprah Winfrey. The film is scheduled for release on Christmas Day this year. Do you plan to go see it? I do :)
